Cyrille Geffray has been an active participant in Smart’s growth since February 2006. He was the first employee to join Smart served as business development manager prior to becoming managing director in September 2007.
Cyrille has ten years’ experience in starting and developing new technology and B2B companies. He co-founded StepInfo, the largest independent consulting company in France for J2EE technologies, with more than 100 employees.
He has a degree from Grenoble École de Management and from ITESM.
Nicolas de Robert joined Smart in June 2006 as the company’s Technical Director.
He previously worked for four years as a development engineer for the software company Ilog.
Nicolas has a diploma from the École Polytechnique (X97) and from the ENSEEIHT.
Romain Job joined Smart in April 2007 as a Sales Engineer for France. In 2009, he assumed official responsibility for the German as well as the Central and Eastern European regions.
In 2014, he became the US Regional Manager.
Romain formerly held a Sales position for the web analytic company AT Internet and co-founded a wind energy consulting company.
Romain obtained a master’s degree in Engineering from École Centrale de Nantes and a master’s degree in Marketing from IAE in Nantes, France.
Arnaud Créput joined Smart as chief financial officer in July 2015.
Prior to this, he served as CFO and Board Member for over ten years successively — five years for Coheris Group and six years for ORSYP Software (which was repurchased by Automic Software in 2014).
Arnaud started his career as a mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets finance analyst at Deutsche Bank AG and BNP Paribas.
He received his degree from ESSEC Business School in 1999.
Nicholas Wagner joined Smart in December 2015 as chief human resources officer.
For three years prior to this, Nicholas served as Criteo’s HR director for Europe and Latin America, a period during which the company experienced hyper-growth and went public on the NASDAQ. He has over ten years’ experience managing HR teams across countries and has served in a wide array of tech-driven companies.
Nicholas graduated from l’Institut des Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) in 2002.
Sylvain Piquet joined Smart in July 2017 as Chief Revenue Officer.
Before that, Sylvain was Vice President, Email within Criteo, heading up global Sales and Operations for the Dynamic Email solution. Sylvain has spent the last 10 years in ad tech. Seven of those were spent at Criteo, where he was based out of London and held various management positions in Business Intelligence, Sales & Key Account Management. Prior to this, Sylvain worked in business development within the In-store Media and Market Research industries.
Sylvain holds a Msc in Marketing and Finance from EM Lyon.
Michael Nevins joined Smart in 2017. He has more than 20 years of experience, including extensive work in ad tech go to market strategy.
David Pironon joined Smart in June 2007, initially as sales director for the French market.
Before that, David worked for five years at Yahoo! as sales manager and business development manager, and two years as a consultant at Oliver Wyman.
He holds master’s degrees from HEC and from Dauphine (Université de Paris IX).
Ingrid Couasnon joined Smart in 2009 as Business Development Manager, and is now Country Manager for France. Ingrid was formerly Senior Business Development Manager at Yahoo! for 4 years.
She graduated from the Ecole de Management de Normandie and Audencia Nantes Business School.
Juan Manuel Alvarez joined Smart in January of 2015. He has a bachelor’s degree in law and a PDD from IESE. He has a vast amount of experience — over 15 years — in the internet industry. He worked at Telefonica for 7 years and then as entrepreneur, founding his own internet agency. It was sold successfully 6 years later.
Based in São Paulo, Weverton is responsible for Smart’s development in Brazil.
He joined Smart in 2017 and has over 10 years of experience in sales. His most recent experiences have focused on digital marketing and retargeting at companies such as RTB House and Criteo.
Weverton has a MBA degree in Marketing and Sales from FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas). He also has a Business Administration and Management degree from Birkbeck University of London.
Lasse Nordsiek has been active in the online business for the past twelve years, eight of which in key positions at renowned companies such as AOL, Lycos, Hi-media and the retargeting specialist Next Performance.
Before switching to Smart this spring, he had been working as Director Strategic Sales at the DMP provider The ADEX. Today, Nordsiek is located in Berlin and managing Sales and Business Development for Smart in the DACH region.
Adrian Behr has been head of Smart’s business development in Latin America since March 2014. He splits his time between the headquarters in Buenos Aires and Mexico.
Adrian has extensive experience in the digital domain. He previously worked as business development manager for Fon in Brazil and Madrid. He also served as operations manager at Lenovo Argentina.
Adrian Behr holds a master’s degree in Marketing and Communication from the University of San Andrés and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires.
Based in Milan, Andrea began his career in the late nineteen-nineties working in marketing and HR for international services and consulting companies.
In 2010, he joined Emailvision where he built and developed the Italian office from scratch. In 2013, he joined Smart, where he is responsible for the company’s Italian branch. An economics graduate, he speaks English and French fluently and he is passionate about sports and jazz.
Joseph Lospalluto joined Smart in April 2017 as US head of Sales. In January 20018, he became the General Manager of the US responsible for all US operations. Joe works with Smart’s Demand and Supply partners to foster deeper utilization of Smart’s Full Stack solutions for strategic growth.
